It is a pleasure for me to present the website of FCC Construcción, Spain's leading construction company from 2009 in terms of turnover. It is also responsible for the construction activity undertaken by Grupo FCC, which was founded in 1900.

Our company operates in all areas of construction, both on the national and international markets, where we carry out almost 50% of our activity. We aim to maintain a seamless culture of professionalism and fulfilment of commitments, irrespective of our location.

We are proud to attract and retain the most qualified individuals from the sector to work in both production and support roles. These technical services provide added value at the project and execution stages alike, which is acknowledged by our customers.

There is nothing new on God's green Earth. Back in the 17th century, Vauban, a military engineer and Marshal of France pointed this out in a letter he wrote to Louvois, the war minister of Louis XIV: "Entrusting construction work to a building contractor with a sense of duty will invariably be the least expensive solution available".

FCC Construcción is committed to sustainable development. This is borne out by the fact that FCC Construcción was the first construction company in the world to produce a sustainability report, a reflection of its approach to handling business. Likewise today, we cannot conceive sustainable business success without an ethical dimension to our work.

Today, corporate responsibility is a constant feature throughout Grupo FCC. Corporate responsibility also understands sustainability as essential for a successful operation and this philosophy has been taken on board by workers, regardless of their position in the company.
